Elite a’Xel Adults Leave Their Mark!

March 20th, 2017

a’Xel is proud to recognize our competitive elite adult team on their placement in this past week’s 2017 US Midwestern Adult Qualifying Sectional Figure Skating Championships held from 3/17-3/19 in Oxford, OH.

Bonnie Goranowski finished as the FIRST ALTERNATE to the qualifying US Adult Nationals by skating her way to 5th place.  While it might not have been the placement she needed to qualify for US Adult Nationals, the skate was solid and something to be proud of.  Her love of skating really showed.

Kelsey Cease was crowned the 2017 US Midwestern Adult Sectional Figure Skating Championships Silver Medalist in the Junior/Senior Master division.  She has earned her way to the 2017 US Adult Figure Skating Championships later in April in Wake Forest, NC to compete there for podium spot!

You will also see Bonnie Goranowski at the 2017 US Adult Figure Skating Championships in NC as well in the Adult Silver non-qualifying group!  Good luck to you both in April.  a’Xel could not be prouder of these two elite adults on their quest for excellence as they train with us!  Keep up the superb momentum and keep the medals coming!
